Danesfield Manor School is a non-selective mixed nursery and school for children aged 2 to 11 years old. Should you be considering Danesfield for your child, you may arrange an individual tour during the school day with the Principal. We also host Open Mornings in the Autumn and Summer Term, click here to see upcoming dates.
During your initial visit you will be asked to complete an Initial Enquiry form and at the end of the viewing, you will be given a Fee Quotation based on your requirements for care or school along with our registration form and term & conditions. These forms are to be completed and returned along with the Administration Fee of £60.00.
Children attending Reception to Year 6 are then invited back to the school for an informal observation. This process ensures that we are able to meet your child’s needs and assess his/her readiness to settle comfortably into and flourish within the structure of our school environment. It also gives the chance for your child to get to know some of their peer group and make their first friends at Danesfield. We will then send an Offer Letter offering your child a place together with an Acceptance Form for you to complete.
Deposit of £250.00 for nursery and £750.00 for school, which is refundable when the child leaves.
We specialise in preparing children for entrance exams to Senior Independent Schools and local State Schools.

Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE) *(applicable to Pre-School only for up to 36 weeks ((Term Time)):
Early Years Free Entitlement is available to all children from the term after their third birthday until they reach statutory school age (the term after they are five). However, a child is no longer eligible for Early Year Free Entitlement, if they attend a maintained nursery before statutory school age as funding cannot be claimed from both the maintained sectors.
If eligible for Early Years Free Entitlement your child is entitled to six free sessions of 2.5 hours (15 hours a week) or five afternoon free sessions of 3 hours (15 hours a week) for up to 36 weeks.
We are not delivering the 30 hours+ EYFS funding.
Places may be available in other year groups and parents are advised to contact the school to ascertain the situation. The children are invited to spend the day with a class within their current year group. Places are offered in Reception to Year 6 on a date of registration basis, using the same priorities as above.
We are a non-selective school, however, each child must attend an informal visit day before an offer of a place is sent to the parents.
